Arena will open on Wednesday 4th November for practice and flyers. Players are welcome to arrive a day early and beat the crowds to get some practice in. We have a special discounted 4 night room rate for players that wish to do this.
Players to arrive on Thursday 5th to register their team, with Men’s singles qualifiers starting 3pm Thursday afternoon, and playing right through to early hours. Ladies singles will start from 8pm Thursday.
Arena will be open from 9am on Thursday for practice, then flyers to start from 7pm.
Team event starts 8.45am Friday 6th Nov. Tournament finishes Sunday 8th Nov, late afternoon.
Men’s singles qualifiers will start 3pm Thursday, and 8pm Thursday for women, with last entry at 11.30pm on Thursday for either event. Players simply arrive in the arena and enter any time up until 11.30pm. Once registered, players wait to be called to their matches. Players from the same team or teams will not be drawn together in the qualifying stages. Players must win two matches to qualify for the main event on Friday.
Main singles event for Men and Ladies to start Friday evening, with ‘Live Streamed’ finals on Saturday evening.
Mixed Doubles to start Sat evening.
All players and spectators must have a tournament wristband to gain access to the event. For players, these are £70 and spectators are £20.
Wristbands are provided FREE to those who book the ‘BAPTO Pool Accommodation Package’, through our accommodation website – www.8ballroomzzz.co.uk
Entry fee is £275 per team. All team entry fees are non-refundable, unless event is cancelled or another team takes their place. If another team takes their place, then a £15 admin fee is deducted from their team refund.
Teams can only register online and must pay immediately using credit or debit card. We have a new payment gateway and no longer use Paypal or bank transfer.
We have a new accommodation booking system, where players book their pool accommodation through us, on our new specialist websitewww.8ballroomzzz.co.uk
All accommodation must be paid fully at the time of booking, we do not take deposits.
Please do not book accommodation until your team has been accepted.
We reserve the whole hotel, until 2 months prior to the event. Any unsold rooms will then be released for sale to the general public. Teams are advised to book their accommodation as soon as they can, after their team has been accepted. We cannot be held responsible for teams that fail to book their accommodation or for room options that have sold-out.
Car parking is charged at £3 per day for hotel guests. Pay at reception when you check in.
